2025 already?

So much has changed since then. Here's a list:

(1) I am now in my last year of full time work (I "retire" in January 2026)

(2) I have committed to getting work done for an exhibition in September this year

(3) I will be spending several months every year in Australia from 2026

(4) My band "The Dawks" will be releasing their first full album this year

...and that's just the start!

A bit more on some of these: The exhibition will be held in the Portobello Gallery in Dunedin, New Zealand. It's run by a long standing friend of mine and we are each encouraging the other to get the work done for it.

My wife has a job in Australia, so I will be spending time with her there as often as possible - that's why I retire from full time teaching at the start of 2026. I will still do relief teaching both in NZ and in Australia.

Due to illness, The Dawks won't be playing a lot this year but progress on the album mixing and mastering is going really well. I will have some samples available on this site for you to check out!

My first Woodblock prints will be available for sale on this site in about a month. Each edition will be limited to 100 (numbered and signed) but there will also be a number of hand-coloured (each one with slight differences as you would expect) woodblock prints available from each block. They will be individually signed.
